Greater Grand Forks Symphony Association


Membership Benefits

Members of the Symphony Association include musicians, artistic and administrative staff, volunteers, subscribers and contributors at all contribution levels, including gifts-in-kind.  All members are invited to the Symphony's Annual Meeting and receive mailings of Symphony concerts and other events.  In addition, contributor benefits include the following:

The Symphony Fund
Supports core operations of the Association, including our four-concert Symphony Orchestra series.
Contributors, Friends, and Sustainers are acknowledged in our Symphony Concert Programs and receive invitations to pre- and post-concert receptions and special receptions with our guest artists.

Supporters and Patrons receive all the above plus excellent seats for two at all Symphony concerts. Benefactor and Guest Artist Sponsors receive all of the above plus ¼-page adverting in concert programs. Concert sponsors receive all the above, are acknowledged in concert advertising and on the program cover.


Adopt-an-Artist Fund
Supports artist fees and expenses, the single largest portion of our operating costs.
All Chair Sponsors are listed in each Symphony program book next to the musician they support and receive invitations to pre- and post-concert receptions.
Sponsors for our Concertmaster and Conductor may have photo-sessions with their sponsored artist and receive autographed portraits, in addition to the benefits listed above.

Youth Orchestra Fund
Supports the Youth Symphony, Junior Symphony, Summer Strings, and the
Divertimento Chamber Music Program.

Contributors, Friends and Sustainers are acknowledged in all Youth Orchestra Concert Programs and in the Symphony's Young Audience Concert Program.
Supporters and Patrons receive all the above plus Best Seating for two at Youth Orchestra concerts. Conductor Sponsors receive all the above plus adverting in Youth Orchestra concert programs. Concert sponsors receive all of the above and are acknowledged on the concert program cover. Chair Sponsors in our Adopt-A-Young Artist Program are acknowledged with their sponsored instrument section in each Youth Orchestra concert program.
